Long before we opened here eight years ago, I confided to Christine, my better half, a lifelong dream of owning a clothing store here on Main Street in the heart of Downtown Memphis.
We didn't know if we could do it; but with your help we did. It was a grand adventure. We are much richer for all the friends we have made. But dreams end with waking up in the real world. Now I hope to liquidate our inventory, pay off creditors and move on.
Our store will be closed over the Labor Day weekend through Tuesday while we reduce prices and prepare for a memorable and fitting swan song: Our Shelton Clothiers Going Out of Business Sale begins 9 a.m. sharp Wednesday, September 4th. You can expect reductions of 30% to 60% off on virtually everything, including all new fall arrivals. Even our exclusive Pink Pig brand, never before reduced, will be priced 20% off. Please note these extended store hours during the first sale week:
Wednesday, September 4th, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
September 5th- 7th, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Closed Sunday, as usual.
It's a busy time, I know, but please make your selections during the first week, while selections are best.
