Golf is in full force and so are the PGA TOUR events! However, things definitely look different on the golf course as the tournaments go on, but without beloved fans. Cheering on the top 70 players in the world as they compete in the 2020 BMW Championship - the penultimate event of the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs--will be a TV-only event this year. Justin Thomas, 2019 BMW Championship victor at Medinah Country Club, will be defending his championship title at Olympia Fields Country Club, along with other fan favorites.
Conducted by the Western Golf Association to benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation, the BMW Championship is the second of three events in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup and determines the final field of 30 for the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. The top 70 players will be vying for the title along with $9.25 million in tournament prize money.
Special Note On Our BMW Championship Giveaway: Since the BMW Championship will be contested without any spectators, that means our 2020 BMW Championship VIP Experience giveaway will be extended into 2021 and will be provided for the 2021 BMW Championship. If you entered our contest, you will have a chance to win in 2021 where we hope things will be back to normal, and fans will be able to attend golf tournaments again.
