Here's Your Chance To Test Your Golf Skills!
The Illinois PGA will host a Women’s Team Skills Challenge event at Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove, IL on Thursday, June 28 to coincide with the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship that kicks off the same week across the street at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer, IL.

This women's team skills challenge event is similar to the (kids) Drive, Chip and Putt Championships that you've seen televised on Golf Channel the Sunday before The Masters Tournament. Participants will compete against each other in a three or four person team format in drive, chip and putt skills. Each woman will attempt three drives, three putts, and three chips. The team total will be made up of the highest individual point total for each skill. Entrants will also receive one complimentary ticket to the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, which will be contested at Kemper Lakes Golf Club located across the street from Twin Orchard. Shuttle bus will be provided to and from each location.

With defending champion Bryson DeChambeau as the focus, this year’s John Deere Classic field will feature current and future Hall of Famers, up-and-coming stars, past champions and fan favorites. DeChambeau, winner of Jack Nicklaus’ Memorial Tournament earlier this month, will be joined by such major champions as Zach Johnson, Davis Love III, Angel Cabrera, and Geoff Ogilvy along with three-peat John Deere Classic winner Steve Stricker.

Past champions including Ryan Moore (2016), Jonathan Byrd (2007), John Senden (2006), and Sean O’Hair (2005) have committed, as have more than 20 players who have won tournaments in the last two years. They include Daniel Berger, Wesley Bryan, Patton Kizzire, Andrew Landry, Kyle Stanley and Aaron Wise. Wise and Stanley both received early-career sponsor exemptions to the Deere, in 2009 and 2016, respectively.
