Michigan golf in the fall is by far the best time of year to play golf. Summer vacation crowds are gone, kids are back in school, temperatures are starting to cool off and leaves are turning vibrant colors. With so many courses to choose from when you travel to Michigan, it can be overwhelming to plan a golf getaway. We’ve planned many a golf trip to Michigan and have tried to concentrate on a certain area when we have traveled.
Recently, we had the pleasure of visiting the

area that is home to many of the top-rated courses in Michigan. This is an area that we had never traveled to play golf, so we were excited for the opportunity to spend a week in this beautiful area! The courses we had the pleasure of playing during our 6-day trip included three (3) Treetops Courses - The Tradition, the Par-3 Threetops, and The Signature; as well as Gaylord Golf Club, The Tribute at the Otsego Resort, Black Lake Golf Club and Indian River Golf Club. You will not run out of options for creating your own “stay and play” golf getaway with the many golf course options nearby.
