GOLF NOW! CHICAGO May News
All States Have The Green Light To Open For Golf, Tournament Volunteers Needed & Featured Local Favorites
May is the month when weather typically is getting nicer and golf courses are getting busy. It’s pretty much business as usual and golfers are getting in the swing. Not so this year as we all know too well. However, with golf courses allowed to re-open again in all 50 states, each state and each golf course is implementing various restrictions that need to be followed if you plan to play there this month.

Below is an update from the National Golf Foundation as to what states have opened courses to date and the percentage of golf courses open. These stats are very informative and will give you an idea of the industry currently and how things are changing weekly in the golf world.
As many know as of May 1, most golf courses in Illinois and Michigan were able to open. Indiana courses have been open for the most part with various restrictions in place. We have listed a few of our featured favorites that are now open for golf with various restrictions. It’s best to visit individual course websites to learn more about restrictions before you play.
