Balmoral Woods is a fantastic golf course for every golfer with easy access to/from downtown Chicago. Register now for Balmoral Woods 2022 Fall Senior Championship – It’s a 36 Hole, Stroke Play Event with No Cut taking place on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9. 

Tee time block both days is approximately 7:45-10:00 am. Sunday is repaired by Saturday scores.

• 50-59 and 60-69 will play the White Tees
• New 70+ Division will play the Green Tees
• New Ladies Division will play the Gold Tees

There will be winners and payouts in each division. The overall winner will be from the 50-59 or 60-69 divisions. If a 70+ player would like to play the white tees and have a chance at winning overall, they will be taken out of the 70+ division.

Open to Senior AMATEUR players only who are age 50 years or older as of October 8, 2022. Sign-up online below.

Entry fee is $165 per player. Entry includes practice round, tournament rounds, range balls, tee gifts and lunch ticket on Saturday for all competitors. If players would like to use Pro Shop Credit they have to pay for the event, contact Brooke Bridges at brooke@balmoralwoods.net  

Entries close Friday, September 30, 2022 at 5:00PM or when tournament is full.

Withdraw - If a player withdraws after entry and before entries close, they will receive a refund less a $20 administration fee. Please contact Tournament Director, Brooke Bridges at brooke@balmoralwoods.com should you need to withdraw after entry.

One (1) practice round will be provided to all competitors prior to tournament play. Ride will be $22. Walk is complimentary. Please call the Pro Shop to make a tee time.

Range balls will be provided each day to competitors before play. Check with the Pro Shop for directions to the range if you are not familiar.

Competitors may ride each day of the event. If you ride it will be $22 each day. Caddies are permitted. Flat soled shoes only. Caddies may not wear golf shoes.  

Fall golf is some of the most spectacular golf you can play before the snow flies.  Weather is refreshing, tree colors are vibrant, crowded courses diminish and golf rates go down!  It’s also a perfect time to book a tee time at a reduced rate at one of Chicagoland’s spectacular golf courses – Lost Marsh!   There are still plenty of days left of great weather to tee it up at Lost Marsh, but now is the time. Check out the list of Fall Rates below at Lost Marsh!

October weather in Chicago is definitely chilly and tells us that winter is around the corner. Get your last few rounds in of golf before the snow flies. Many golf clubs host a “Chili Open” and White Hawk Country Club is hosting theirs on October 22. Get in the fun, eat some great chili and play some amazing fall golf!

Saturday, October 22 – Chili Big Cup Scramble is open to the public and White Hawk Members. Big Cup Scramble. Four-person teams. White tees for men, red tees for ladies. Two Flights, blind flighted (flights determined after scores are posted, top half, bottom half). Now is the time to register for this popular event!
