Fall Rates, 2nd Chili Open Added, Fun Events, Membership Deals and The Masters!
Even with the pandemic creating so much uncertainty in the early months of spring, golfers managed to get out and play lots of golf this season. Courses saw new golfers tee it up for the first time and regular golfers playing more. We’ve seen record number of rounds from many Chicagoland courses as well as surrounding states. Golf is still in full force and with beautiful fall colors, it’s a perfect time to tee it up as cooler weather sets in. Along with cooler weather comes less crowds, excellent course conditions and discounted fall rates!

Watch The PGA Greats This November Tee It Up At The Masters ... Without Patrons, Guests, And No Augusta Roars!
The Masters has always been associated with the beginning of spring, Easter season, blooming azaleas and the start to the professional golf tournament season. This year, with so many events cancelled, or postponed to 2021, The Masters Tournament was moved to November 9-15 with the hopes of having fans, guests and spectators in attendance. Unfortunately, with the pandemic not under reasonable control, the decision was made in August to move forward with the event, but without fans, spectators and guests. The good news is that tickets for the 2020 tournament would be honored for 2021’s event, scheduled for next April. The ticketing process for the 2021 tournament has also already commenced, and the club indicated it would be communicating directly with ticket holders and applicants for next year’s tournament.  
A 2nd Chili Open Golf Event Added At The Sanctuary! Registration Is Open Now!
A chill is in the air and so is the smell of chili! You know this event is popular when a 2nd event date is added! This year’s event will look a little different, as The Sanctuary adjusts their plans to abide by the Governor’s restrictions on golf events. Because of the fantastic response The Sanctuary has already received to this year’s event (it’s sold out), they will be adding a second Chili Open date to accommodate more players.  

This means there will now be a Chili Open on BOTH Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15. Two separate dates and two separate events … with prizes, fun, all the chili you can eat and camaraderie!

Details As Follows: $300 per team (4 players); Payment due at sign-up -- cash or credit only.
Fee includes greens fee, cart fee (two carts are allotted for each foursome), prizes and all the chili you can eat; 10:00am Shotgun Start (on both days); Scramble format; Sign-up has begun and will continue until the 2nd event is full. The field for each event is limited to 100 players (25 teams) in order to abide by the Governor’s restrictions on golf events.  
Fall Is The Best Time To Golf And Save Some Green At Lost Marsh!
Fall golf is some of the most spectacular golf you can play before the snow flies. Weather is refreshing, tree colors are vibrant, crowded courses diminish and golf rates go down! It’s also a perfect time to book a tee time at a reduced rate at one of Chicagoland’s spectacular golf courses - Lost Marsh! If you didn’t get the chance to get out this season and tee it up at Lost Marsh, now is the time.

Get Ready For Naperville’s Cross-Country Turkey Shoot Golf Event ... And Give Back To “Operation Support Our Troops”!

Everyone is eligible to play in this festive, holiday golf event that tends to wrap-up the golf season. This fun, 9-hole scramble format has 5-person teams playing each course in a “cross country” set up.

All participants receive a turkey, and the group with the lowest score for the day will get the biggest birds. As part of the tradition of the Turkey Shoot, players that don’t wish to receive a turkey can donate the value of the turkey to a local charitable organization.

This year the charity is Naperville-based "Operation Support Out Troops".
Important Registration Information 
Naperbrook and Springbrook will host two separate “Cross Country Turkey Shoots.” Each event will consist of a field of up to ninety players, a total of eighteen fivesome teams.

Date Choices: 
Naperbrook – Saturday, November 21 or Springbrook – Sunday, November 22

Both events are scheduled for a 10:00 a.m. shotgun.

All groups must be fivesomes and full payment for the entire group is due at registration. Entry fee is $40 per player, $200 per fivesome. Entry fee includes 9-hole cross country scramble, lunch and a prize turkey. Golf carts will be available, weather permitting.

Eligibility:
Open to anyone willing to test their skills and brave the cold.

Registration:
Registration will begin at 8 AM on Saturday, November 14. Register online or in the golf shop at Naperbrook Golf Course only. Registration will not be available at Springbrook Golf Course, or by phone. Registration for either course will close when 18 teams have registered for that course. Contact the golf shop at Naperbrook to be added to a wait list for either event.

Operation Support Our Troops:
The Naperville Park District has selected “Operation Support Our Troops” – a Naperville-based organization – to be the beneficiary of donations from the 2020 Turkey Shoot events at Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses. Participants may elect to donate the monetary equivalent of their prize turkey that will be forwarded on to this cause that supports "the morale and well-being of American forces by providing comfort, resources and education to them and their families." If you are planning to donate your turkey, please inform staff at registration or check the box to donate your turkey on the registration form. The price of your turkey will be included in the cash donation to “Operation Support Our Troops”.
