It’s Golftoberfest at Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses!

The annual Turkey Shoot Golf Tournament tradition is returning for 2023 at both Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses on Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19. Don’t wait as these popular events fill up fast!!

You don’t want to miss this new event coming to Arlington Lakes Golf Club on Thursday, October 19. Bring your foursome and register now for this fun golf tournament complete with prizes for winning teams. Afterward, dine on an authentic Oktoberfest Buffet Lunch* including bratwurst, potato pancakes, pork schnitzel, pretzels, German potato salad, apple strudel and Oktoberfest beers. The buffet is open to tournament participants and the public!  *Tournament fee does not include buffet.

Another Great Event Coming To Arlington Lakes Golf Club

This November Arlington Lakes Golf Club will be having their “Toys for Tots Turkey Shootout” on November 17. This will be a 4-person scramble 9-hole event. All golfers are asked to bring an unwrapped new toy and join them afterward for a “Friendsgiving Feast”.  

Ravisloe Country Club has recently been awarded Level I accreditation by the Arbnet Arboretum Program and the Morton Arboretum for achieving particular standards of professional practices deemed important for arboreta and botanical gardens. The Arbnet Arboretum Program is the only global initiative to recognize arboreta at various levels of development and capacity. Ravisloe is now formally recognized as an accredited arboretum with the Morton Arboretum. The accreditation that Ravisloe has achieved makes it the first golf course arboretum in the world. Ravisloe Arboretum contains more than 3,000 trees from at least 60 different species.   

In honor of this great achievement, help Ravisloe Country Club be named the first golf course arboretum in the world! Celebrate their special recognition on Monday, October 9 from 10 am to 2 pm. Ride or walk the course and pick out a tree to dedicate to someone special.  With over 3,000 trees and 60 different species on the course, you can remember a loved one with a special plaque at the tree that you choose.
