Get Ready For An Event Like No Other!
The Ryder Cup is undoubtedly one of the world’s greatest sporting events. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. It’s an event that transcends sport, yet remains true to the spirit of its founder, Samuel Ryder.
 
In just a few short weeks, this year’s prestigious event will take place on the Straits Course at the historic Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin on September 24-26. The course will be hosting its very first Ryder Cup, and has previously hosted three PGA Championships (2004 won by Vijay Singh, 2010 won by Martin Kaymer and 2015 won by Jason Day). 
 
The U.S. squad is made up of 12 players. The team is composed based on the Ryder Cup point standings and players have accumulated points since the qualifying period began in 2019. The top six players who secured the automatic qualifying with the close of this past week’s BMW Championship on Captain Steve Stricker’s team are, in order, Collin Morikawa, Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay. Stricker will make his six captain’s picks on Sunday, following the conclusion of the Tour Championship.
