September is the perfect month for everything golf! It's a chance to get a few more rounds of golf in before the leaves start covering the ground and the first few snowflakes are in the air. It's a time look back on our golf season and enjoy the memories of fun with family and friends.
It's also a time to thank a veteran and to remember those we lost on September 11 by getting involved with one of the many veterans' programs or outings available. This month's newsletter offers great golf events and activities for everyone!

September "Golf & Fish" Event at The Sanctuary Golf Course Opens Registration on September 4th!

The Sanctuary Golf Course is one of Chicagoland's favorite golf courses for local golfers and those visiting Chicago and the suburbs! If you haven't played in their
"Golf and Fish" event, now is the time to sign up! Registration starts on
September 4 and the event takes place on
September 30. All of their events are popular, but this one sells out fast!!

Brooks Advantage Cardholders can golf Monday-Thursday, 11:00 am - twilight for $35 with cart (18 holes) and $25 with cart (9 holes). Weekend special of $38 with cart (18 holes) available Saturday and Sunday after 11:00 am. Additional savings are available for walking only. Seniors save up to $6 off September special rates. And golfers who don’t have a 2018 Brooks Advantage Card can purchase one for 50% off through the end of the season.

Odyssey Golf Foundation Hosts Veterans Event -
Fore A Great Cause!

The Odyssey Golf Foundation has partnered with the Chicago District Golf Association Foundation again this year to host the
3rd Annual Fore Our Veterans Golf Outing on
Thursday, September 13. This outing is a festive occasion by which organizations and community members can make a tangible difference in the lives of Veterans and Active Military locally and globally.
A field of 120 golfers will play a challenging course followed by a buffet dinner in the beautifully renovated The Odyssey Venue. The after-golf festivities will also include a Helicopter Ball Drop, raffles and a silent auction with many wonderful items to help with our fund-raising efforts. It’s a memorable experience you won’t want to miss!

Harborside International, Chicago's Home For Golf, Offers Significant Labor Day Savings!

On Monday, September 3, Harborside will offer its twilight rate of $59 plus tax starting at 12:00 pm. Super-Twilight will begin at 3:00 pm with a rate of $35 plus tax.

Patriot Golf Day. Throughout the Labor Day weekend donations will be accepted in their golf shop to benefit Folds of Honor.
