BRANCH CURBSIDE SERVICE STARTS NOV 30!
|
|
We are launching curbside services at our three neighborhood branches on November 30! Branch library pickup services will be offered two days per week at each location, with bookdrops available for returning materials on curbside service days.
We appreciate your patience during this pandemic while we reinvent library service and then reinvent it again. Due to staffing constraints in our buildings and support of the City of Redwood City’s essential services, we have only been able to staff the Downtown Library curbside service. However, we identified a staffing plan that will allow us to offer curbside service at the branches. In conjunction with other City facilities and neighboring Library jurisdictions, we still plan to keep our facilities closed to the public into 2021. Please note that our Curbside services are subject to change given the San Mateo County Health Department’s public health orders for COVID-19.
We look forward to seeing your faces at the Fair Oaks Branch Library, Redwood Shores Branch Library and Schaberg Branch Library beginning November 30! Look for our service schedule in the coming weeks. For more information, go here: www.redwoodcity.org/librarycurbside

Do you have your vote plan ready?
As we head into the final stretch of the 2020 Election, we are happy to pass along voting information. There are Vote Centers and Ballot Drop Boxes throughout San Mateo County, and two are at Redwood City Public Library locations.
The 4-day Vote Center at Fair Oaks Branch Library will be open October 31 through November 3. Vote Centers are physical locations where voters can register to vote or update their registration, drop off a voted ballot, obtain a replacement ballot, or cast their vote using an accessible voting machine. Fair Oaks Branch Library is located at 2510 Middlefield Rd. The Downtown Library will be the site of a curbside ballot drop-off location from Saturday, October 31 through Tuesday, November 3. Simply drive up and follow the signs. As with Ballot Drop Boxes, all curbside ballot boxes are safely secured by official election staff and delivered directly to the San Mateo County Elections Office for processing.
Find more information on the election here.
