Dear HPN,
We just finished a big OSCARS weekend, with an HPN Prayer Walk down the Red Carpet in front of the Dolby Theatre three nights before the Academy Awards, which are hosted there. There were over 70 of us praying over the land, for the people attending, the security, and the behind-the-scenes employees who work so hard to make the night possible. It was an honor to give all the details up to the Lord in Prayer. And the response from our 1st time pray-ers was fabulous!
Then on Sunday we held our annual OSCARS WATCH PARTY. It was a glamorous event with gowns, food, Oscar Ballots, prizes and fun for almost 200 people in our community. We want to start this Call Sheet with a PRAISE to God for allowing us to serve our community in this way! We are honored to be ministering in the world’s most influential marketplace and mission field and we are deeply grateful for all of you joining us in prayer. YOU ARE THE BEST!

THE OSCAR WINNERS NEED PRAYER
Let’s pray for the list of the 2026 Academy Award WINNERS. We want them to know that their identity is not in the gold plated statue they just won, but in the God of the Universe, who created them, loves them unconditionally, and has a plan for their life - to prosper them! What a treat it is to pray for some of the most talented people in the world! Thanks so much for joining us in prayer. And we celebrate Michael B. Jordan who won Best Actor for SINNERS, immediately thanked God for his win, and then reflected on his "blessings and walking on my path".

THE TEAMSTERS TRY TO BLOCK THE PARAMOUNT PURCHASE
We want you to continue praying as we follow the drama of the Paramount Purchase of Warner Bros Discovery Studios, since it’s impacting our whole industry. The Teamsters are now trying to block the purchase unless the studios write into the deal a protection clause for their current employees. Too many people have been trying to survive through the instability of the industry and this acquisition will cause even more unemployment. It’s such a hard time for our community and we ask for your prayers for God’s provision, encouragement and hope in this season of entertainment.

The CBS DRAMA MARSHALS IS THE MOST-WATCHED TV SERIES SINCE 2017
CBS has renewed its new drama Marshals, set in the world of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone, just 12 days after its Season 1 premiere. The first episode drew 20.6 million multiplatform viewers within its first seven days. That breaks network records and shows the industry that people are watching network television, and Westerns are still hot. Please pray for the writers, producers, and executives of that series, as they make decisions on the content, actors and budget for this series. We want the Lord to be guiding their steps and decisions, even if they don’t know Him.

THE SXSW FILM, MUSIC & TV FESTIVAL IS OPEN IN AUSTIN, TEXAS
The 2026 South by Southwest Film, TV & Music Festival opened in Austin Texas last Thursday, March 12 and runs through today, March 18th. The Festival is known for its high-caliber and diverse programming of film, TV and XR projects, along with amazing musical artists performing throughout, and draws a committed audience of indie filmmakers and media professionals. They showcase some of the world’s biggest artists and presenters and its participants include a long list of influencers, creators, storytellers and culture-changers. Let’s pray for all of the attendees, the messages they are projecting, the projects being screened and launched, and the impact of all of these decision-makers and cultural influencers. Oh, may they all seek the heart of Jesus.

100 ZEROS, RANGE MEDIA PARTNERS and GOOGLE CREATE MICRODRAMAS
As the industry explodes with new platforms, formats and services, Google has partnered with two other companies “to create a diverse slate of serialized, bingeable content optimized for mobile viewing.” Do you recall Quibi, which launched in 2020 by Jeffrey Katzenberg and Meg Whitman, featuring “quick bite” content under 10 minutes to play on our iPhones? After almost $2 billion it quickly shut down because of poor user adoption and the pandemic. Well, 6 years later, Google TV mobile App for iPhone and Androids, launches the same type of vertical content and it’s immediately gaining attention. Let’s pray for this new version of media and invite the Lord in to guide the content for users all over the world.

MICKEY ROURKE IS BEING EVICTED AFTER GETTING $60,000 BEHIND IN RENT
Let’s pray for Wrestler/Actor Mickey Rourke, age 73, as he faces eviction from his home in Beverly Hills. He has not been able to pay his rent and so friends have set up a GoFundMe campaign to help him stay in his home. We always assume that “celebrities” are rich and happy, and this story reminds us that everyone has a story and everyone needs the strength, direction, wisdom and support of our living God. Would you pray for Mickey to not only have a home, but have a faith in the God of the Universe who loves him SO MUCH and wants to take care of him.

The vision for the Hollywood Gospel Choir is to bring together artists in the entertainment community to worship God through gospel music and build fellowship in Hollywood. The choir would host seasonal concerts—especially at Christmas and Easter—as opportunities for worship, outreach, and community gathering.

AN ARTISTS RETREAT IN NORMANDY, FRANCE
