Professional Development Research Study

We hope you will assist us with a professional development research project, and take 10-15 minutes to complete this SURVEY.

We are conducting a study that seeks to answer this question: What types of professional development contributes to the critical skillsets of education professionals? This study will combine literature reviews, an online survey, and interviews and focus groups.

This survey is open to anyone who considers themselves part of the education field (not just STEM). This includes classroom teachers, informal educators, program administrators, higher education faculty, researchers and evaluators, curriculum developers, etc. Please complete the survey by Friday, May 7, 2021. Thank you!

Explore STEM Philly Goes Virtual

In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Week we are proud to uplift the work of our Explore STEM Philly volunteers. Explore STEM Philly, a signature program of Philadelphia Education Fund, is a STEM speakers bureau through which teachers are able to secure and schedule STEM career professionals for their classrooms. We’ve been working hard to transition this program from in-person to virtual, and are pleased to share we just completed our first round of distance-learning presentations. Now more than ever our students need hope, inspiration, and examples of what the future might hold for them if they stick with school and make a post-secondary plan.
