Fall 2017 Regional Workshops
For Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
The Commission on Grandparents Raising Grandchildren invites grandparents and kinship caregivers to attend any of the following regional workshops throughout Massachusetts. The workshops are three hours long and will include a guest speaker at each workshop who will cover topics important to relative caregivers. Presentation will be followed by an information panel which includes representatives from agencies who work with grandparents raising grandchildren such as DTA, DCF, Masshealth, WIC, Elder Services, and more.

Topic: Grief and Loss for Kinship Families
Join the Commission, grandparents raising grandchildren, kinship caregivers, and service providers for a workshop and information panel in North Adams. The guest speaker will discuss grief and loss for kinship families and how to talk to children and loss. An information panel will follow with representatives from agencies that work with grandparents raising grandchildren such as DTA, DCF, WIC, Masshealth, Elder Services, and more.
