FREE AMA CPD Tracker App
From 16th June 2021, new legislation states that general practitioners (GPs) are no longer required to rely on colleges to confirm their compliance CPD requirements in order for their patients to receive full Medicare rebates.

Pen CS and AMA have collaborated to provide a free CPD Tracker App for Australian doctors. The CPD Tracker App complies with CPD Requirements monitored by the Medical Board of Australia (MBA).

The CPD Tracker App provides a personalised, trusted and accessible digital platform for doctors to take control of their learning opportunities and CPD requirements.

The CPD Tracker App is available now on Topbar.
NEW CAT Plus booklet, for General Practice and Aboriginal Medical Services - available now
Pen CS has created a new booklet titled 'CAT Plus health informatics software for quality improvement in General Practice and Aboriginal Medical Services'. This booklet provides an overview on Pen CS, CAT Plus software, Data Governance, Privacy, Security, Clinical Governance, Training, Support and Communication.

This booklet is available in the General Practice Portal.
NEW Favourites Topbar App - coming soon
Pen CS will be launching a new Favourites App on Topbar which aims to reduce time inefficiencies for doctors during their consultations by allowing one-click access to their most-used websites daily.

NEW MGT App Free Feature - 'Heart Health Check' Risk Assessment and 'My Healthy Heart Plan' templates - now available
Heart Foundation's 'Heart Health Check' and 'My Healthy Heart Plan' templates are now available through the MGT App on Topbar, at no cost to the practice.

This will enable practices to easily perform MBS items 699 and 177, saving time for doctors and practice nurses on administrative work.

New Features of the MGT App Heart Health Check include:
  • Enhanced algorithm to improve CVD risk assessment
  • Automation of clinical data inputs
  • Streamlined document creation
