The Power of Momentum.
How do we as a region replace someone the caliber of Jennifer Daly?

As a member of the GPEDC Technical Work Group (TWG) and the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Committee I have seen the positive effects of the evolution of the GPEDC under Jennifer's tenure. My participation in those groups has revealed the new energy that has been injected into this organization over the last few years.

You can't replace Jennifer, but the GPEDC Board is in the process of hiring a new CEO that will continue to move the five-county regional EDC efforts forward.   That process is on the fast track and the GPEDC Search Committee has interviewed three excellent candidates.

The new CEO should be onboard by mid-September and will have the luxury of walking into a well-oiled machine and a staff that is second to none. And in the mean time, our work moves forward as strong as ever, carried by the momentum created over the last three years.  Thank you Jennifer.

My time in this transitional role will be short as I will soon hand over the duties to your new CEO.  However, knowing all the good that is going on in our region I will continue on as one of the hundreds of volunteers on the various committees that are such an integral part of this organization.   Thank you to all of the committee members that volunteer to make this region a better place.
