at the site of the new Golden Plough Lodge & Northumberland County Archives and Museum
Construction workers behind a fence
Did you know?
Please note Courthouse Road in Cobourg is closed to through traffic indefinitely to accommodate construction of the new Golden Plough Lodge and Northumberland County Archives & Museum.

How do I navigate the road closure?
Access to Northumberland County Headquarters (555 Courthouse Road), Halcyon Place and the existing Golden Plough Lodge will be open through the east leg of Courthouse Road. Those entering or exiting the north parking lot at 555 Courthouse Road from the Golden Plough Lodge parking lot are reminded to drive slowly and watch for pedestrians.
Access to the Church on the Hill, will be available through the west leg of Courthouse Road.

Please remember
Construction sites can be dangerous without proper safety equipment and training. Please do not proceed beyond the safety fence at the construction site.
