Construction Update
Library Renovation and Expansion plans were approved by the Conservation Commission and by the Historic District Commission. Plans need to be approved by the MA Historical Commission, the Building Department, and Fire Marshall. We are in process of applying for a variance for ADA compliance from the MA Architectural Access Board. A more complete hazardous materials survey is scheduled for the 35 Grafton Common Building for July.

The Town has received a partial, advance grant disbursement of $460,000 from the Commonwealth of MA.

New Feature!
Auto-Renewal
starts July 1
Starting July 1, C/W Mars will roll out a new feature: Auto-Renewal!

Patrons with email addresses in their records will be notified by email when an auto-renewal attempt is made. The email will list all items due on that date, whether the item was renewed, and if it wasn't, the reason why.

If a patron doesn’t have an email address on their record, auto-renewals will still occur. The patron just won’t receive notification that the auto-renewal occurred.

Auto-renewals help save patrons, (and staff), time, energy, and in some cases, stress. Beginning this summer, you will have one less thing to worry about!
New Database:
Driving Tests
Provides access to photographs, manuscripts, books, audio recordings, and other materials of historical interest that have been digitized and made available by members of Digital Commonwealth, a statewide consortium of libraries, museums, archives, and historical societies from across Massachusetts.
