FIND A GP SPECIALIST

The GPLI maintains a database of U.S. eye care professionals who prescribe and fit GP lenses. This list is used daily by personnel visiting our consumer education website: contactlenses.org. Driven by zip codes, patients can obtain a list of GP Specialists (up to 25 listings) within a 100 mile radius of their zip code.

Do you need to refer a patient? Utilizing the new zip code where your patient is relocating or visiting, find a specialist to refer them.

Join 2,755 GP Specialists that are already listed in our database throughout the United States. You need to specialize in 4 of the 5 areas of expertise to enhance your listing. They are:

General GP Contact Lenses
Bifocal/Multifocal Contact Lenses
Contact Lenses for Irregular Corneas
Corneal Reshaping / Orthokeratology
Scleral Lens Designs

To provide your information, go to GPLI.info. Under the drop down menu of the tab RESOURCES - 4th choice down is FIND A GP SPECIALIST. Click on that choice and then scroll down and enter your information.

Or you can CLICK HERE and immediately go to the page for input.

GPLI Advisory Board Spotlight

Michael J. Lipson, OD, FAAO, FSLS
Dr. Michael Lipson (OrthoK Consulting LLC), who provided such an excellent contemporary overview on orthokeratology in the March GPLI webinar, is interested in obtaining more data on orthokeratology usage. If you have the time it would be appreciated if you could complete the brief survey listed below.

The FOKUS (Fitting of OrthoKeratology in the US) Survey
The prescribing, popularity and practice of OrthoK is gaining momentum and we now have the opportunity to gather information that will help practitioners grow their OrthoK and myopia management practice.
To date, practitioners, manufacturers, educators and the public have had little to no information on the field of OrthoK. The public, as well as those involved in prescribing OrthoK, do not have answers to questions like, how many patients are undergoing OrthoK, why are patients starting OrthoK, how many practitioners are prescribing OrthoK and what are the prescribing habits of practitioners.

Below is a link to a survey that will gather data to answer those questions and more. Having this information is critical to all involved in OrthoK as well as those considering initiating OrthoK. Your participation is highly valued and will help you and the eye care community. To ensure the best picture of the overall market, please pass this on to a colleague or post on social media. Results of the survey will be published in a popular journal. The survey is a non-biased, independent project with no company sponsorship. It should take 8-12 minutes to complete and upon completion you can opt to be entered in a drawing for one of five, $100 gift cards.
