Dear Ones,

We hope you and your families are safe and healthy. The COVID pandemic is still in full swing, with no real end in sight. It has had a devastating effect on all of us and increased stress, isolation and trauma for people across many communities.

We at GPS Group Peer Support are proud that in 2020 we trained over 250 people in our trauma-informed support group model to help people move through adversity with power, resilience and hope.

GPS is now being successfully implemented nationally with perinatal parents, men, women and LGBTQA folks struggling with addiction and recovery, people who are currently homeless, foster and adoptive parents, Hispanic, Chinese families and Black Leaders and allies.

“A mom came to our GPS Online Support Group and poured her heart out, saying she had been suffering with postpartum depression since her baby was born and had told no one.‘You are all strangers to me but for the first time in seven months I finally am able to feel like myself.’
GPS made her feel safe enough to share and now her healing process has begun.
