Over 1,300 people joined us, and 2000 registered, for nine sessions of the GPS Seminar Series in the past fiscal year. These sessions covered a range of topics including target-setting and sustainability metrics for responsible investments, Natural Capital Accounting (NCA) with case studies from Ghana, Nigeria, and Tunisia, and sector-specific sustainability transitions such as the circular economy in Türkiye. Other seminars featured insights from the GPS's flagship reports the Changing Wealth of Nations (CWON) 2024, and Accelerating Access to Clean Air. The learning events featured speakers from private companies like Barclays Bank, international organizations like the Sahara and Sahel Observatory, the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and the Basque Centre for Climate Change and government representatives from ministries of Finance, Tourism, and Development.
We invite you to explore the GPS Seminar Series recordings and materials. This recap includes links to each event enabling you to revisit the conversations, explore sessions you may have missed, and share them with colleagues.
