Keep the Beat Going: Ask Senate to Replenish RRF
 
The House voted to replenish the Restaurant Revitalization Fund with an additional $42B, now it’s up to the Senate to make it happen. Please join our grassroots campaign to ask the Senate to approve this new round of funding.

EEOC Announces Opening of 2021 EEO-1 Component 1 Data Collection
The EEO-1 Component 1 report is a mandatory annual data collection that requires all private sector employers with 100 or more employees and federal contractors with 50 or more employees meeting certain criteria, to submit workforce demographics including data by race/ethnicity, sex, and job categories. Deadline to Submit and Certify Reports is May 17, 2022.

DOL Overtime Rules & Regulations
DOL has now announced additional virtual Overtime listening sessions for May and June 2022, for both worker and employer stakeholders. These sessions are organized by region.

Georgia restaurants in need of help | New push hopes to assist those struggling

Fulton County Small Business Recovery Loan Program Applications Are Open
Select Fulton, in partnership with Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE), is expanding support for the Fulton County business community as the impact of the COVID-19 continues to be felt. Starting April 4, small business owners in Fulton County, excluding those located inside the City of Atlanta, will be able to access the newly created Fulton County Recovery Loan Program. Select Fulton, Fulton’s economic development arm, has partnered with Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE) to put together a $3.9 million fund to small businesses who experienced revenue losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more and read the full press release.

Following pause, more rental assistance dollars now available in Cobb
AJC - After a months-long lapse in funding, more rental assistance money is on the way for Cobb County families. The Cobb Board of Commissioners on Tuesday voted along party lines to accept an additional $6.9 million in rental assistance dollars from the federal government. That includes $1.5 million for people whose financial hardships aren’t directly related to the coronavirus, but have still struggled to pay the rent as housing costs have soared amid the pandemic.
