LOS ANGELES, CA (October 24, 2025) – GRAMMY®-winning guitarist and composer Laurence Juber kicks off another chapter of his storied career with the score to the documentary Everywhere Man: The Lives and Times of Peter Asher, which traces the Zelig-like journey of one of music’s most successful and influential figures.

Directed by Dan Geller and Dayna Goldfine, the film chronicles Asher’s incredible evolution – as one-half of the British Invasion hitmakers Peter & Gordon to Apple Records A&R man to producer of James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt to inspiration for Austin Powers, and that’s just scratching the surface.

“It’s funny how I got involved in the project,” Juber says. “Jeff Alan Ross is Peter’s right-hand man, and he was already working on the picture with the directors. At one point, they used my solo acoustic arrangement of ‘And I Love Her’ in a scene, and that’s when Jeff said, ‘Well, why don’t we just have Laurence score it?’”

Juber’s musical treatments included sequences of acoustic and electric guitar, along with one passage in which he produced and arranged a string quartet. “The end credit has a terrific sequence in which they compare Austin Powers’ image with Peter's image from the ‘60s,” Juber says. “For that, I did a cool jazzy kind of thing that matched the mood.”

He adds, “Peter was quite happy with what he heard, and that was so important to me. It’s a wonderful picture, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”

Recently, Juber produced and arranged (and played on) Jimmy’s, the spectacular debut album by Christena Rich, on which the fast-rising singing star covers some of the best-loved songs by Jimmy McHugh, one of the most prolific and popular composers of the 20th Century, whose iconic catalog of songs included “Let’s Get Lost,” “I’m in the Mood for Love” and “On the Sunny Side of the Street,” among many more.

“I met Christena and thought she was a marvelous talent,” Juber says. “We did a cover of the Bee Gees’ ‘To Love Somebody’ and put it out as a single. After that, I pitched her on the idea of doing an album of Jimmy McHugh’s songs. I had already thought of doing a solo acoustic album of his music, but the thought of working with Christena really appealed to me. I brought in a terrific group of musicians, and we went on quite an adventure together. And I have to say, Christena really dug in and delivered powerful performances throughout. She’s an extraordinary gifted singer who’s going to go far.”

Jimmy’s is out now on Juber’s own HoloGram Recordings label. Stream, share, purchase the album HERE.

Juber, who famously toured and recorded with Paul McCartney’s group Wings from 1978 to 1981, won raves from critics and fans for his recent album, A Day in My Life. Recorded at Abbey Road’s legendary Studio 2, the album is Juber’s fifth collection in a series of his immensely popular solo acoustic arrangements of iconic Beatles songs.

The guitarist isn’t spending all of his time in the studio. On October 26, he and Christena Rich will perform selections from Jimmy’s at Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Jazz Club in Los Angeles. Purchase tickets HERE.

The next month, on November 22, Juber will take the stage for a special solo show at McCabe’s in Santa Monica. “I’ll do some Beatles and Wings, some original songs and a few tunes from the Great American Songbook,” he says. “When I’m on stage with an acoustic guitar, my goal is to entertain the audience and myself.” He adds with a laugh, “Hopefully at the same time.”

At McCabe’s, fans can expect to hear Juber’s solo arrangement of Jimi Hendrix’sLittle Wing.” The guitarist recorded a stunning version of it for his 2000 album, The Collection, and since then it’s been a staple of his live shows. “It’s one of those pieces that never stops evolving. I do a lot of improv with it, and I’m always surprising myself when I play it.” Purchase tickets HERE.

With the Christmas season right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to pick up Holidays and Hollynights, Juber’s popular trio recording of Yuletide classics. And if you’re in need of a stocking stuffer – or a wake-up anytime – there’s Laurence Juber’s Fingerstyle Half-Caf Signature Blend Coffee. “It’s a really wonderful blend,” the guitarist notes, “but it won’t give you the jitters like some other coffees. You can enjoy it whenever you like.
