ABOUT THE ALBUM NOMADICA

The album was sparked by an imagined encounter with her late mother, who died suddenly in a car accident. Patullo threads the music with subtle healing frequencies and a growing sense of uplift that mirrors her own process of hope, reconnection, and acceptance.

“I was struggling with the shock of my mother’s death, and with the fear of my own,” Patullo says. “Little by little, I began feeling glimmers of light from her. I decided to go where I was too scared to go before; I let myself imagine the conversations we never got to have. Through that process, I released pain that I had been carrying for years, and I also finally accepted myself, especially that part of myself that was frozen in time when she died. The melodies just flowed out of me. And instead of a dead end, they helped me see connection and adventure ahead.”
