Drive Electric Earth Day 2023

Stormy weather did not deter more than 200 electric vehicle owners, dealers, and enthusiasts who attended the 11th annual drive electric event on April 29th. A variety of electric cars, trucks, and buses were on display, including an Altec JEMS hybrid electric bucket truck that is currently part of a fleet of 6 at Fairport Electric (pictured here). They report that they love using these trucks because they're quieter, which makes communicating with fellow crew members up in the bucket much easier!

Take a look back at the 2012 EV event and car show, where the first publicly available charging station in Monroe County was unveiled. Now, we have more than 20 in our 9-county region!
