Green Midlands Family, 

I cannot believe summer is almost over and our new school year is about to begin! I want to thank all of you for your commitment and dedication to the success of our school, students, and community! We were voted top 5 Charter, not by chance, but because we strive to be exceptional in all that we do! 

I am looking forward to this upcoming school year as we continue to "Dream Big". It takes all of us working together to achieve our goals.  



The vision of GREEN is that every student is empowered to pursue their dreams and equipped to impact the world for the better. Our mission is that our Global Renewable Energy Education Network (GREEN) will prepare students in STEM to creatively and responsibly impact our complex world in renewable energy, sustainability and conservation efforts.

We will be developing, renewing, and awakening dreams this year in our students and in ourselves.

Information will be shared about afterschool care, PikMyKid, MySchoolBucks, free and reduced lunch application process, and medication forms. If possible, please bring your child's school supplies to orientation. We can't wait to see you there!

All early dismissals must be no later than 2:15 pm

Dress Code Policy

Please note that the new GREEN Charter Schools Acceptable Use Policy is

found in the handbook - specifically, it can be found on on page 22 of the Family Handbook.

The link to the Acceptable Use Policy Acknowledgement Form for families to complete (one per student) can be found below. The form also contains a link to the Family Handbook. All forms are due by September 15, 2023.

Technology Agreement

All GREEN Schools will utilize the PikMyKid app for dismissal. Please download the app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store by Monday, August 7th.

Some GREEN families will need to wait to register their children. We are still in the process of uploading everyone into our Powerschool system. Thank you for your patience.

If you are interested in applying for Free/Reduced Lunch, please complete a new application for this school year. Last year's status is only good until October, 1 2023. 

When applications are submitted, please allow up to 10 business days to be processed.

• New students, please turn in all enrollment documents. We must have birth certificates and immunization record before your child can attend the 1st day of school.

• All students much be dropped off and picked up through the car line. We appreciate you following this procedure.

• All drinks and food brought in for breakfast must be disposed of prior to leaving the cafeteria. (NO GLASS BOTTLES)
