GREYHAWK Celebrates Completion of the ResinTech, Inc. Camden Campus
ResinTech, Inc. is a global leader in ion exchange, manufacturing resins for water treatment, purification, and pollution control. The company's two-building campus in Camden, N.J. is the first new resin manufacturing plant constructed in the U.S. in over three decades. At peak capacity, it will produce over a half-million cubic feet of resin annually. Designed by EwingCole, the $138.8 million project was completed in September.
GREYHAWK provided Owner’s Representative and Commissioning services for both new buildings. The 180,000-sf ResinTech headquarters accommodates manufacturing, laboratory, and research and development operations. The 175,000-sf building for sister company Action Pak houses a packaging and production operation including temperature-controlled space. GREYHAWK served as advocate for ResinTech to administer the project and provide the necessary staff to attend meetings, analyze proposed change order costs, and monitor inspections, collecting and cataloging reports for project files. GREYHAWK was involved in both HVAC and process commissioning, encompassing office space, testing labs, and the manufacturing facility. ResinTech marks GREYHAWK's largest commissioning project to date.
ResinTech, Inc. developed its 27-acre site in the vicinity of River Road and Federal Street as part of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority “Grow New Jersey” tax credit program. The development process included remediation of contaminated land, construction of two separate facilities that will achieve LEED-certified status. Both facilities will be solar powered to meet LEED Silver standards for energy efficiency and environmental design.
