John 1:16-17 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Grace came to us through Jesus Christ our Lord. This means the favor and power of God are now available for us.
Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
By faith, the believer accesses the grace of God and lives the rest of his/her life by faith and grace.
Romans 5:17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
Grace is powerful, it gave us salvation and because of that, we reign in life.
2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
This scripture is known by all believers. What you need to know is that the riches it is talking about is not only material riches, but we, through His grace became partakers of His riches in glory. This is more than any material thing that we can obtain. Grace gave us access to everything in the Kingdom of God.
Ephesians 1:6-8 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence.
Grace is forgiveness, reconciliation, love, and everything what the Kingdom of God is.
We are covered with the grace of God and we are moved by the grace of God.
Grace empowers the believer to do God’s will.
James 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
You know that we can grow in grace! The humble receives more grace. Who is the humble? The one who submits to God and keeps His word.
2 Peter 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
Make as priority to know the Lord more and more, that you may grow in grace.
Titus 2:11-12 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.
Do not be deceived! You read it for yourself, what the grace of God teaches. Do not be like those who abuse the grace of God that claim they have received the grace, but they are living contrary to the will of God.
Jude 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
The grace of God is not a license to sin, like some teach it. Avoid them!
Grow in the grace of God.
