GSAR CEO announces retirement effective Dec. 1

After careful consideration and reflection, I have made the decision to retire from my position as the CEO of the Greater Syracuse Association of REALTORS® and Central New York Information Service, Inc. effective December 1, 2023. It is with a mix of emotions that I announce my retirement after 28 fulfilling years of service.

First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to each and every member of this association. Over the years, we have built a strong and vibrant community of real estate professionals, and it has been an absolute privilege to serve as your CEO. The dedication, passion, and professionalism displayed by our members have been the driving force behind our collective success.

Throughout my tenure, I have witnessed the association grow, evolve, and adapt to the ever-changing real estate industry. Together, we have navigated through challenging times, celebrated milestones, and worked tirelessly to uphold the highest standards of excellence in our profession. I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together.

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the directors of GSAR and CNYIS for their unwavering support and guidance. Your commitment to the association's mission and vision has been instrumental in shaping our strategic direction and ensuring our continued growth. It has been an honor to work alongside such dedicated individuals who share a common goal of advancing the real estate profession.

I am grateful to the association’s staff for your hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Your contributions have been invaluable in providing the necessary support and services to our members. Together, we have built a strong and efficient team, and I have full confidence in your ability to continue driving the association forward.

The association will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will cherish the experiences and friendships forged during my time here.

As I embark on this new chapter of my life, I am filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation. Retirement will provide me with the opportunity to explore new interests, spend quality time with loved ones, and pursue personal passions. While I will miss the daily interactions and challenges that come with managing this association, I am confident that the foundation we have built together will ensure its continued success.

In the coming weeks, I will work closely with the Board of Directors and the staff to ensure a smooth transition of leadership. I am committed to providing any necessary support during this period to ensure the association's continued success.

Thank you once again for the opportunity to serve as your CEO. I am confident that the association will continue to thrive under new leadership, and I look forward to witnessing its future successes from a different vantage point.

With warm regards,

Lynnore Marie Fetyko, CEO
