Now that cookies are delivered to troops and on their way to Girl Scout customers, you'll want to make sure you're making deposits frequently* and tracking finances in Smart Cookies.
This is also a good time to remind you that every time you give out cookies or collect money from parents/caregivers you need to fill out receipt. Troops received receipt books with their materials. If you need additional receipt books, stop by the council office or see your Service Unit Product Sales Manager for more.
We know that many of you are waiting on Product Sales Deposit Slips. Please check at your February Service Unit meeting for slips. We apologize for the delay.
Bonus Opportunity Reminder:
Troops who sell 3000 or more packages in 2018 (includes Direct Ship sales) will earn a bonus!
Troops must be paid in full by their turn in with their SU PSM and may not use their bonus to pay their balance. Bonus levels are non-cumulative.
Sell 3000 packages - earn $100
Sell 3500 packages - earn $125
Sell 4000 packages - earn $150
Bonuses will be paid out in April/May 2018.
It's Booth Sale Season! Below are some etiquette steps, we ask you follow. This is very important if we want to keep having community booth shifts. Thank you!! See below:
- Are you Indoors? No shouting, chanting, singing or noise making.
- Ask customers politely and respond politely.
- Do not leave the general booth area.
- Set up your booth 10-15 feet from the store entrance. Do not block the entrance in any way.
- Do not leave trash. Case boxes should be broken down and taken home to recycle. Don't fill up the store's trash cans.
- Bring plenty of change. Run out? Do not ask the store to make change for you.
