Dear Granite Steps for Quality Recipients,
The first of the KODO Kids Kits are arriving! These kits are part of the Granite Steps for Quality loose parts incentive. If you have been awarded a GSQ Quality Step, you can expect to receive a kit in the mail shortly based on the ages served in your program. Please see the flyer below for more information.
Note: A detailed, “How To” Guide will be mailed to your program in the upcoming weeks with some ideas on how to integrate these materials into your classroom.

Child Care Aware of NH, a program of Southern NH Services, will be offering Intro and Overview of the Environment Rating Scales (ERS) throughout the 2022-2023 Training Calendar Year.
Learn more about the ERS tools and how to use them to improve program practices. There are both evening and afternoon options for the convenience of providers.

Environment Rating Scales (ERS)-ACROSS NH
|
|
|
This virtual training provides an introduction and overview of the ERS and the School Age Care Environment Rating Scale-Updated (SACERS-U) tool. We will examine the benefits of using the tool and how to use the SACERS-U tool in an out-of-school time (OST) program. This training is intended for programs with school age children in OST.

NH Infant/Toddler Module - Peer Learning Community (PLC)
This training will be a hybrid learning experience. There will be e-Modules to view available at no cost on ProSolutions (18 hrs. of content) and 6, 1.5 hour Peer Learning Community (PLC) virtual sessions to participate in.
This training is suggested for all staff who work with infants and toddlers, particularly those new to Pyramid Model.
