GSSCC member companies will be recognized for demonstrating excellence in corporate social responsibility, specifically service to the community during the past year in support of non-profit/community organizations or causes. Paid Parking Until 10 PM, Join GSSCC to Oppose

A public hearing on Montgomery County parking and transit fees is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18. The fee schedule proposed by the County Department of Transportation assumes that paid parking hours in Silver Spring will be extended to 10 -p.m. weekdays. GSSCC has signed up to testify in opposition. Members who want to express their concerns about this proposal may sign up for the hearing here
The Council's Transportation, Infrastructure, Energy & Environment (T&E) Committee has scheduled a work session on proposal that is included in the County Executive's proposed FY18 Budget document. That session is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 27. Members interested in commenting on the budget proposal, as well, should email Councilmember Nancy Floreen , Committee chair, prior to the work session. Network and Get a Professional Head Shot

GSSCC's Young Professional's Network will host a "Professional Head Shots Workshop" presented by Adam Lowe of Adam Lowe Creative  from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.  next Friday, April 21, at Not Your Average Joe's (8661 Colesville Road). The workshop includes a free sitting and digital image; prints and other upgrades will be available for a fee. Registration fee is $10 for members, $15 for non-members. Click here  to sign up

Eggspectation to Host April Breakfast

GSSCC's next Business Networking Breakfast is scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, at  Eggspectation (923 Ellsworth Drive). Join members to honor the Montgomery County Police 3rd District Officer of the Quarter at this event.
