Interested in learning more about Montgomery County's current plan for Bus Rapid Transit on Colesville Road?   Then join the Economic Development Committee for a meeting at 9 a.m. this Thursday, December 21, in the Chamber Conference Room for a presentation on the project from Montgomery County Department of Transportation officials. Learn:  how the route will operate between downtown Silver Spring and Burtonsville;  where the station stops are planned along the way and what they will look like;  where the buses will run in traffic and where they will run along the road shoulder;  how traffic will be affected and where buses will be given signal priority over other vehicles;  how much the system will cost;   and other details. Copper Canyon Grill to host January 10 Lunch

Our first members-only lunch of 2018 will be 
from noon to 1:30 p.m.  on  Wednesday, January 10, at Copper Canyon Grill (928 Ellsworth Drive). * Community Bridges is  collecting winter coats, gloves, hats, socks, blankets, boots, and toys for its families.   All items will be distributed on December 21, at the annual holiday event.
