U.S. Chamber Summit on Equality of Opportunity Set for This Thursday, Registration Open Now

GSSCC is pleased to be among some 500 chambers and trade associations nationwide that have signed on as partners for the U.S. Chamber’s Equality of Opportunity initiative. The effort kicks off with a national summit this Thursday, June 25, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., when some of the nation’s top leaders from the public and private sectors will discuss solutions to underlying challenges driving inequality of opportunity across America. Missed the PPP Loan Forgiveness Webinar?
Here are the Resources You Need

In an effort to provide guidance to members who will be seeking forgiveness of loans received under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), GSSCC hosted a webinar last week with David Hincapie, Economic Development Specialist with the Washington Metropolitan Area District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). County Officials Field Questions on Phase 2 Reopening

GSSCC and other area chambers hosted a webinar last Friday to help businesses understand the county's guidelines and requirements for the Phase 3 Reopening. Jerome Fletcher, Assistant Chief Operating Officer, and Tina Benjamin, Special Assistant to the County Executive, provided an overview of the requirements and answered questions. As businesses are preparing to re-open and employers are tasked with providing PPE for their returning employees, GSSCC has launched a “ Back to Business Products” page on our website for members looking to purchase PPE products, signage, and more.
