GTA AM TOUR PLAYER CROWNED 2016 INVESTORS GROUP ONTARIO MEN'S AMATEUR CHAMPION!

July 19, 2016 Thornhill, Ontario:   In what seems like a scene right out of The Golf Channel's highly popular "Big Break" golf reality show, an unlikely champion was crowned the 2016 Investors Group Ontario Men's Amateur Champion at the prestigious Thornhill Golf and Country Club today. Johnny Longball, a frequent player on the GTA AM Tour, stole the show over the past three days beating out a deep field of the provinces finest men's golfers. Johnny's "big break" came as a result of winning an exemption to play in this year's competition from Andrew Mitchell, a Consultant with Investors Group who put up the prize for 2015 GTA AM Tour players.

When asked about his unbelievable good fortune Johnny said "Yeah, my name was drawn by Andrew at the final event of the GTA AM Tour last fall.  It was kind of unreal, because I've never really won anything before but when I heard my name called, I was absolutely thrilled.  All the guys cheered for me and it was really great to see many of them out here today supporting me in my victory.  It's a moment I will cherish forever".

With just 6 weeks remaining to the 2015 season, time is quickly running out to improve your odds of winning your "big break" to play in the 2016 Investors Group Ontario Men's Amateur Championship.  The draw is open to all Tour players who have a Handicap Factor of 8.4 or lower by end of play at the season ending event, held at the Ridge at Manitou on September 28.  All players, who qualify, will receive one (1) ballot for the draw that day.  If you played in the "Plan to Win Open", hosted by Andrew Mitchell at Barrie, a second ballot will be added for you.

You can also greatly increase your odds by contacting Andrew between now and September 25th to have a no obligation, no cost discussion about how Andrew can improve your financial well-being.  Having that meeting will generate an additional five (5) ballots for the draw for a total of up to seven (7) ballots!  Andrew can be reached by email at [email protected] or by cell or text at (647) 980-0306.

As a reminder to all Tour players who not sport a low(er) handicap or feel particularly "lucky", Andrew's standing offer to everyone (who books a no obligation coffee meeting to learn more about how he can help you achieve financial independence), is to pick up the cost of your 2016 GTA AM Tour Early Bird Registration Fee.  That way you're a winner no matter what.

When asked about how the coffee meeting went with Andrew, Johnny Longball replied "I didn't realize that Investors Group offered mortgages and also did debt consolidation.  I thought they were all about investments.  Andrew was easily able to beat my bank mortgage rate and he combined some outstanding loan balances I had into one convenient monthly payment.  I put the new found savings into a Tax Free Saving Account which I also opened with Investors Group to build up an emergency fund which until now I didn't really have and was always tapping my line of credit when things got a bit tight.  Smart advice.  I really feel like I'm on my way to better financial place because of that meeting".
