We hope this email finds you and your family healthy and that you are finding solutions to the challenges presented by COVID-19 and its affect on our lives.
We are reaching out to provide you with an update on the current direction of The GTA AM Tour for the 2020 season. Given the speed and volume of changes, including those related to public policy, we will, as things develop, update you on any changes to this direction.
Barring any imposed restrictions, from either Host Clubs or Governmental Agencies, we are planning to move forward with the 2020 GTA AM Tour season. We are viewing this as an opportunity to provide our players with a safe place to reconnect, or connect anew, with the Tour Community.
We are currently reaching out to, and will continue to maintain communication with, our host clubs to coordinate our strategies with their plans for their courses. We are letting them know that, if necessary, we would not require access to the clubhouse and could operate our tournament entirely outside of the clubhouse. At this time, the majority of host clubs are uncertain as to their plans to open/operate. They will continue to update us and we will relay this information to you, as they relate to each Tour event.
We are in the process of creating an operational plan for our Tour Team, based on "physical distancing" protocols, to address both the safety of the Tour Team and that of our players.
Should Tour events be cancelled, due to a host club not being able to operate or a Governmental directive, The Tour will provide a full event fee refund to all players registered for that event.
We are hoping, like all of you, that we are able to get outside, in the near future, to reconnect with friends, make new friends and to play some tournament golf which we all so very much enjoy.
