RICHMOND HILL ON - January 27, 2014 -The GTA AM Tour is very pleased to announce the addition of BMO Bank of Montreal to its list of sponsors, as part of an agreement that grants BMO the title of exclusive bank and credit card sponsor of The GTA AM Tour for the 2014 season. This partnership will see BMO provide World Elite prizing and discounts to Tour players. In addition to this sponsorship, the GTA AM Tour is pleased to announce the return of the competitive Fall Swing series to the 2014 Tour schedule. This "competition within a competition" is to be named "The BMO World Elite Fall Swing."

The BMO World Elite Fall Swing is a series of six tournaments that will run during the month of September and will culminate with the season ending Tour Championship. Tour Players will compete for BMO World Elite Fall Swing points, based on their finish position, along with the season long Order of Merit points. The top player in each of the four Flights of the BMO World Elite Fall Swing will receive a trip, scheduled for March 2015, including golf and accommodation (destination to be announced). In addition to the four fantastic trips up for grabs, Tour players who have a BMO World Elite MasterCard and who place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any one of the events in the BMO World Elite Fall Swing will be awarded with prizing of BMO Rewards Points. The number of BMO Rewards points awarded will be as follows: 1st place: 10,000 points (value of $100 for travel); 2nd place 7,500 (value of $75 for travel); 3rd place 5,000 points (value of $50 for travel). Inspiring even greater competition at the end of the Tour season, the BMO World Elite Rewards Points awarded for the Tour Championship will be increased by 100%.


The GTA AM Tour is also very excited to announce additional special incentives of this program. Players who have a BMO World Elite MasterCard will receive one dozen TaylorMade golf balls, and with a BMO Rewards MasterCard, will receive two sleeves of TaylorMade golf balls. The Tour will also conduct monthly draws for each of the six months of the golf season. All Tour players who proudly carry a BMO MasterCard (BMO World Elite or BMO Rewards), and who are in good standing, will have an opportunity to be one of two monthly winners of a round of golf at Coppinwood Golf Club, hosted by Mark Young and a BMO representative. The Tour will also provide 10 preferred parking spots at each of the 2014 Tour season events for use by BMO World Elite card holders. All BMO World Elite card holders who use their card to pay for Tour expenses will receive a 2.5 per cent discount for Tournament charges prior to September 1, 2014. For all 2014 BMO World Elite Fall Swing tournament charges, players with a BMO World Elite credit card will receive a 5% discount on Tour purchases made in September.
