Hi :

We hope this email finds you and those close to you well.

It is REALLY nice to be thinking about golf in the middle of the winter. We are excited to share with you some WONDERFUL news.

Given the high demand from members of Tour host clubs, it was extremely challenging to book the 2021 Tour schedule. I would like to personally thank each of the host clubs for their continued support of, and Partnership with, The GTA AM Tour.

We are PUMPED to share with you the addition of three new events to the 2021 Tour schedule:
1)    Scarboro G&CC – Monday, May 10th
2)    Grand Niagara GC – Monday, May 17th
3)    Coppinwood GC – Monday, October 18th – (This will be a FUN season-ending event (no Order of Merit Points) that will see players play in foursomes (off the first tee) in a two-person net best ball format.)

To provide everyone with an equal opportunity to register for these events, we will be closing the event registration for ALL events this Friday at 1pm. At exactly 2pm on Friday, we will re-open registration for all events.

Those currently on the Coppinwood Notify Me List (we have a list), will be able to be the first to register for the October Coppinwood event by emailing Patricia (patricia@gtaamtour.com) between now and tomorrow at noon.

There are a few events on new Tour courses that still have openings. We want to make sure you are aware of some of the unique qualities of these venues/events.

This event is set to take place on Wednesday, May 26th, the day after Cobble Beach. If registered for both events, you will enjoy the challenge of playing this Stanley Thompson designed golf course the day after playing the more forgiving Doug Carrick designed Cobble Beach.

The Tour will be holding two 2021 events at this 45-hole facility. The first visit trip will take place on Monday, June 14th for the first Major of the 2021 season, a 36-holes one-day event. Champ., A and R Flights will play both rounds on the Doug Carrick Designed Battlefield course and B, C and ONS Flights will play both rounds on the Thomas McBroom designed Ussher’s Creek course.

The Tour will return to this facility for a one-day/one-round regular-season event on Monday, August 23rd. Flights will play the course they did not play in June. This means that the Champ., A and R Flights will play the Thomas McBroom designed Ussher’s Creek course and the B, C and ONS Flights will play the Doug Carrick Designed Battlefield course.

This 36-hole facility is the venue for a 2021 Mackenzie Tour event and is located close to the GTA (50 minutes from Highways 400 and 401). Both courses are designed by Harry Allard and will provide players with excellent conditioning and a unique golf experience.

For those of you who have not yet registered for the 2021 season, we want to let you know that, at this time, nineteen of the currently scheduled 26 events have a Notify Me List. However, and on the good news-front, everyone registered for the 2021 season before 2pm this Friday, will have the same opportunity to register for new events after they are launched.

We wish you, and those close to you, good physical and mental health. Here’s to an early and warm start to the 2021 golf season….! 😊
In good health,
