RICHMOND HILL, ON (JANUARY 2019) Welcome to 2019! I hope you all had a safe and enjoyable holiday and are as excited as I am about the upcoming Tour season. By now, you might have seen TV or print ads announcing that after 92 years operating as Investors Group, we have changed our name to IG Wealth Management. Our new name better reflects all that we actually do for our clients, beyond just investments. You are also familiar with my "Plan to Win" theme for the Tour. This will continue to live on as a cornerstone of my ongoing sponsorship of the GTA AM Tour. Did you know that this year's Tax Free Savings Account (TFSA) annual limit was increased to $6,000 from $5,500? A TFSA is an excellent way to shelter gains from tax and build real wealth. Also, the last day to contribute to your RRSP for the 2018 tax year is Friday March 1st. If you would like to discuss setting up one or both of these accounts, I'd be glad to help.
