We hope this email finds you well and thinking about planning a golf trip with Matt and TJ at Golf Away Tours...!
 
Given that the golf season is "officially" finished, we thought this would be a good time to let you know about the Tour's March 2016 trip to Myrtle Beach, brought to you by Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday  and Golf Away Tours . We will be having a totally optional week-long Net competition and daily skins competitions. The top three players of the Net competition will win prizes. There will NOT be Tour points awarded at this event. Players who have attended this trip in the past have had a GREAT time and we are hopeful that you, and your friends are able to join us this year..!
 
We will be playing and staying at the Barefoot Resort which features four award-winning courses - Fazio , Love , Norman  and Dye . Matt Ginella, from Golf Channel, proclaims Barefoot as the best golf resort in Myrtle Beach. The Resort provides the total golf experience, with a premium 30-acre practice facility including a grass range, putting green and short game area with chipping green and sand bunkers. The villas are located close to the main clubhouse. Villa amenities include: living room, washer and dryer, dishwasher, fridge with ice maker, fully equipped kitchen and balcony. There are a variety of restaurants  within 1.4km (just across the intracoastal bridge). 
 
We are offering two packages. The first is a 7 night/6 rounds of golf package and the second is a 3 night/3 round package.

BREAKDOWN:
  • *   Total: $1895 CDN - 6 rounds of golf, 7 night accommodation (6 people sharing a 4 bedroom villa or 5 people sharing a 3 bedroom villa). Resort shuttle service from villas to clubhouse (during hours of operation) Daily (buffet) breakfast and unlimited use of practice facility (during hours of operation)
The same package, with accommodation in Golf Villas*, and at least three people, is $1,575 CDN.

  • *   Monday, March 28 morning - 18 hole round on the Love course
  • *   Tuesday, March 29 morning - 18 hole round on the Fazio course 
  • *   Wednesday, March 30 morning - 18 hole round on the Norman course
  • *   Thursday, March 31 morning - 18 hole round on the Dye course
  • *   Friday, April 1 afternoon -  18 hole round on the Love course
  • *   Saturday, April 2 afternoon - 18 hole round on the Fazio course
  • *   Replay rate: 18 hole- $60 USD/ 9 hole- $35 USD
Sunday, April 3 Optional Morning Round Rate: $100 USD
 
Porter Airlines flies out of Billy Bishop Airport in downtown Toronto. The Porter flight departs at 12:30pm and arrives MYR at 2:45pm. It departs Myrtle Beach at 3:40pm and arrives in Toronto at 6pm.
 
Westjet flies out of Toronto Pearson at 6:55pm and arrives in Myrtle Beach at 8:57pm. It departs Myrtle Beach at 9:45pm and arrives at Pearson at 11:44pm.
 
As part of the 2015 Myrtle Beach Gross and Net Order of Merit, 7 night/6 rounds of golf trips to Myrtle Beach were generously provided, by Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday as prizing to the top three players in each of the four Flights. CONGRATULATIONS to the 2015 Tour winners: Champ Flight - Ryan Taylor, Michael Alderman and John Harrington.  A Flight - Mike Hubbs, Robin Hutchins and Shavi Kahlon.  B Flight - Bob Chapman, Kevin Allen and Don Laking.  C Flight - Jay White, Robert Perri and Mark Matusiak. Booking: To reserve your spot on the trip, a $500 deposit is required by January 8, 2016. The balance must be paid by no later than January 28, 2016. Please book early as availability is limited.
