I am VERY excited to announce that Matt MacKay will be joining us as the new Tour Handicap Chair. Matt has had a long and extensive career in the golf Industry and will be an excellent addition to The Tour's handicapping team. As the former Director of Handicapping for Golf Canada, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of Handicap Chair. He has been in the golf industry for 15 years and really enjoys the game. He is an excellent golfer that plays to a scratch.

Brad will continue to work with Matt and The Tour as the Vice Chair. I would like to thank Brad VERY much for many things Tour-related, not the least of which is his tireless work when it comes to doing whatever it takes to provide everyone with a fair and level playing field as it pertains to handicapping.
I personally appreciate all Brad has put in place and done and am extremely thankful that he will continue to work with us as part of the handicapping team. Over the past ten years, Brad has been instrumental in creating a Tour-wide handicapping system that is far and above anything done by other clubs.
To put this into some sort of context, and on an annual basis, Brad sent out over 1,300 emails to Tour players in an effort to ensure a level playing field and to educate players about the importance of maintaining a current and accurate handicap factor. He was instrumental in the introduction of automatic uploading of scores from Tour events, development of the Tour's net scoring programme, revisions to the Battlefield Promotion as well as numerous other aspects of the handicap programme that we are very proud of.
