RICHMOND HILL ON – March 3, 2021 – The GTA AM Tour is very pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with longtime Tour sponsor GOLFTEC.
“Since 2018, we have enjoyed a strong relationship with GOLFTEC and are excited to be partnering with them again for the 2021 season,” said Mark Young, Canadian Golf Tours Inc. President. “We are looking forward to developing a new initiative called the GOLFTEC Rewards Program. Our goal is to give players within the GTA AM Tour community an opportunity to improve their ability to play the game at a competitive level through the teachings at GOLFTEC.”
The continuing collaboration between the Tour and the world leader in golf improvement will give Tour members a chance to grow their game off the course during the off-season and see the results on the course.
“The program is designed to encourage Tour players to improve their game and be more competitive on The GTA AM Tour,” said Dean Larsen, COO & VP at GOLFTEC Canada. “We are extremely pleased to continue the Partnership with The GTA AM Tour Community and look forward to sharing, with the GOLFTEC Community, the career-best performances of GOLFTEC students ON TOUR..!”
GOLFTEC Rewards Program
Any GTA AM Tour player who signs up for a three-month or longer GOLFTEC coaching program, will receive a ballot. At the end of the year, the Tour will draw two names and those players will join Mark Young and the 2021 GOLFTEC Most Improved Player recipient for a round of golf at Coppinwood GC.
The GOLFTEC Most Improved Player is determined by calculating which player has the most improved Handicap Ratio for the 2021 season. For more information on how this is calculated, click this link.
GOLFTEC will provide currently registered Tour players with a 90- minute Evaluation. The Evaluation will be complimentary if the player purchases a GOLFTEC coaching plan. If the player does not purchase a plan, the Evaluation will cost $75 (reduced from $125);
Should an active Tour Player Purchase a 6 or 12-month plan, GOLFTEC will provide a 9-hole play lesson at no additional charge. The player will be responsible for any associated green fee expense should there be one.
