Dana, Workhorse partner on city delivery truck with new electric axle
Dana Incorporated and Workhorse Group Inc. announced the design, development, and production of a city delivery vehicle featuring Dana's Spicer Electrified integrated e-Drive axle.  Full story
Trillium debuts new name
A national provider of alternative fuels systems and renewable fuels debuted a new name: Trillium CNG is now Trillium. Company officials simultaneously announced the name change and a partnership with California-based EV Connect, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. Full story
FedEx Express receives fuel cell EV delivery van
FedEx Express has received its first fuel cell, electric delivery van for use in New York, which will be deployed on a standard delivery route for the company. The zero emission E-GEN delivery van was built by Workhorse Group and is charged by a Plug Power ProGen hydrogen engine.  Full story
Fleets testing plug-in hybrid Transit vans in Spain
Ford has expanded testing of its Transit Custom plug-in hybrid electric vehicles to Valencia, Spain, to see how it see how it can contribute to cleaner air targets and enhanced productivity for fleets. Full story
Volvo unveils second electric truck model
According to Volvo Group's European division, just three weeks after the unveiling of Volvo Trucks' first all-electric truck, the FL Electric, the OEM is expanding its product range with yet another electric truck. The Volvo FE Electric is designed for heavier city distribution and refuse transport operations with gross weights of up to 30 tons. Sales will commence in Europe in 2019. Full story
