Provider of all-electric medium-duty chassis for buses and trucks, Motiv Power Systems announced it has secured $60 Million in equity funding. The Series B round of investment was led by investors GMAG Holdings Corp. and Winnebago.

Eaton testing EV transmission for commercial trucks
Eaton’s eMobility business plans to launch a 4-speed transmission for heavy-duty electric commercial vehicles. Designed for Class 7 and 8 commercial vehicles, the transmission is currently in the testing phase with major OEMs and is set to debut in 2022.

Navistar announced the launch a new business unit assembled to deliver a customized electrification solution to International’s truck and school bus markets.
