Diversity in Gorge Tech
The Gorge Technology Alliance strongly believes that a welcoming environment for a diverse workforce supports a robust high tech ecosystem in the region, stronger companies, and a more robust community.

Throughout our initiatives, we support this value. Some key examples include:
  • Youth Robotics: Increasing access to youth robotics programming through the GTA's investment in the equipment needed for teams of all incomes to participate. Additionally, the GTA supports annual coaches training support additional participation.
  • STEM Career Day: The GTA started the STEM Career Day focused on exposing all seventh grade students in the Gorge to career opportunities in STEM.
  • Corwin Hardham Scholarship: The GTA seeks to ensure access to higher education for Gorge students interested in STEM career paths.
  • Gorge Women in STEM: The GTA supports the Gorge Women in STEM group and engages with them to increase conversation about how to address the gender gap in tech and support more women entering the workforce.
The GTA looks forward to working with you to continue these efforts moving forward!
