Get Together Foundation Delivering aid, care and comfort to Los Angeles’ most vulnerable citizens

Here's a quick update on what The Get Together Foundation is up to this month. We are proud to announce that Casa de Vida, our Bridge Housing Facility, opened its doors on September 4th! Kevin & Mare Wachs, co-founders of the Get Together Foundation, together with Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission director Ken Craft did the official ribbon cutting on Tuesday, September 3rd. It was a very special moment for us at GTF. We put your generous donations straight to good use after just 2 months from the big benefit concert at The Theatre at Ace Hotel, where The Tribe and its all-star band performed the California Saga 2 concert to a full house, Casa de Vida was opened. Your participation in our work is truly making a difference in our community. We are helping families in need.

The shelter provides food, a place to sleep, counseling, job training, and healthcare for 12 families. We have plans to provide a volunteer tutoring program and also start a garden.

GTF/HOV FOOD DELIVERY PROGRAM

Our food truck will deliver delicious, nutritious meals to homeless families placed in temporary motel housing. We'll be announcing the schedule soon, so keep watching, and if you feel inspired, please be a volunteer. Come out and help feed people in need. VOLUNTEER HERE
