Mohamed Abdurahman

Mohamed Abdurahman, with over 15 years of experience as a journalist, specializes in covering conflict and security dynamics in the Horn of Africa, with a particular focus on Somalia and the evolving conflict between Al-Shabaab and the Somali government.


He has contributed to leading analysis on regional developments during the time he worked with the Global Terrorism Trends and Analysis Center (GTTAC), providing insights on Somalia and broader African security trends.


He holds a BA in Government and Global Politics from George Mason University and an MA in Global Security and Cybersecurity from Arizona State University.
