Ocean to Ocean on Hwy 60. Before Rt 66, the Ocean-to-Ocean Hwy went from Santa Monica, CA to Virginia Beach, VA. In NM it followed an old wagon road from Springerville, AZ to Socorro, NM—a road that may go as far back as Kit Carson in the mid-1800s

Bureau of Indian Affairs Dormitories From 1957 Diné (Navajo) children lived in these buildings and attended the Magdalena School (K-12). Once the Alamo Navajo Reservation developed their own schools the dorms were closed around 1984. Kelly and 10th Street
