A Message from Our President

As we approach the holiday season, I want to extend my warmest wishes to you and your families. This time of year reminds us of the importance of community, gratitude, and reflection. I am grateful for each of you and your unwavering support of our beloved university. Together, we continue to uphold its legacy and ensure its bright future.

Fall sports are in full swing, and our student-athletes have been showcasing their talent, resilience, and Tiger Pride on every field and court and in the classroom. Let’s keep cheering them on! Your presence and energy at games make all the difference, so wear your colors proudly and support our teams as they bring glory to our institution.

In addition to supporting athletics, let us remain steadfast in representing the interests of our university in every way possible. Whether through advocacy, mentorship, or simply sharing your stories, we are all ambassadors of the excellence that defines our alma mater.

Mark your calendars for one of the most exciting events of the year—the Bayou Classic on November 30th! This historic rivalry not only showcases our athletic excellence but also brings together generations of alumni and supporters. Let’s make this year’s Classic a memorable one by showing up in full force and celebrating the spirit and tradition that unite us all.

As we close out the year, I encourage each of you to continue engaging with your local alumni chapters, supporting our initiatives, and uplifting one another. Together, we are stronger, and together, we will continue to make an impact.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season filled with love, laughter, and Tiger Pride!
