A Message from Our President

As we approach the end of this incredible year, I want to express my gratitude for each of you and your contributions to our shared journey. Together, we’ve built a legacy of support, commitment, and community that carries us forward with strength and pride.

Our biggest event, the Bayou Classic, is fast approaching! This iconic tradition goes beyond a game; it’s a celebration of our heritage and unity as we come together to honor our teams, support our student-athletes, and showcase the vibrant spirit of GUNAA. Let’s show up and rally for all our teams—football, basketball, bowling, volleyball, and more. Let’s be there every step of the way, win or lose, because our support matters and fuels their success.

Looking ahead to the new year, I encourage everyone to renew your membership dues. Your commitment makes it possible for us to expand our programs, give scholarships, and recruit new members who will carry on our legacy. By staying connected, you’re investing in the future of GSUand the next generation of leaders.

Speaking of leadership, I’m excited to announce that we’ll be transitioning soon to new leaders in January 2025. New chapters bring fresh perspectives and ideas, and I invite you all to be part of the journey as we continue to grow, serve, and make a difference.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication. Let’s continue to support, uplift, and recruit as we step into a bright future together.
